City of Los Angeles (City) and Los Angeles Unified School District (LAUSD) candidates in the 2022 primary City elections have reported raising campaign contributions in excess of $7.4 million and spending more than $1.7 million for campaign purposes. The semi-annual reporting deadline was August 2, 2021, covering activity from January 1, 2021 through June 30, 2021. Total contributions and expenditures reported to date are detailed in the table below.

In addition to candidate committees, there were two committees supporting recall measures and one opposing a recall measure during this reporting period. The committees in support reported $64,086 in contributions and $30,164 in expenditures, while the committee in opposition reported no contributions and $5,472 in expenditures.

The next filing deadline for the 2022 primary City and LAUSD elections is January 31, 2022, covering activity from July 1 through December 31. The primary election is scheduled to be held on June 7, 2022.
