The following forms must be filed to begin your candidacy for the 2020 City and LAUSD Elections.

Citywide candidates (Mayor, City Attorney, Controller) may file up to 24 months before the election date.
City Council and LAUSD candidates may file up to 18 months before the election date.
Within 10 days of opening a campaign committee bank account.
Within 10 days of establishing an email address, social media account, or website.
Within 10 days of raising or spending $2,000.
Acceptance or Rejection of Matching Funds (Form 20). (Not applicable to LAUSD Candidates.)
Before or during Candidate Filing Week.
Statement of Economic Interests (Form 700)
Statement of City-related Business (Form 44). (Not applicable to LAUSD Candidates.)
During Candidate Filing Week.

The following forms are required when you perform certain activities:
